If you have decided for various reasons not to eat dairy products, almond milk will become a rule in your kitchen.

Last thoughts:

This recipe is full of healthy goodness: almonds are packed with protein, fiber, and antioxidants; and the combination of water, dates, and spices gives this almond milk a sweet flavor. Enjoy it in your cereal, add it to smoothies, or drink it by itself for the ultimate raw vegan snack.

The consistency of this milk is dependent on how long you blend the almonds and water. Blending briefly will give you a lighter, more watery product while blending longer will give you a creamier one.

If you prefer thicker almond milk, just add some nuts to the recipe or blend a bit longer. So there you have it! Making almond milk can be easy, and the taste is incomparable to store-bought.

It can have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. At the same time, it is interesting that, while the almonds consumed as such are high in calories, the milk obtained from them has very few calories, an essential aspect for people who need a special diet to stay fit.

Almond milk is also very tasty with figs, honey, and cinnamon or you can put chicory and carob powder in it, a perfect alternative to coffee with milk.

An advantage of almond milk is that it has a white color and a consistency similar to cow milk. You can combine it with cereals, and you can put it in coffee, or you can simply drink it, but you can also use it as an ingredient to prepare more delicious dishes.
