Commercial Nutella is delicious, we all know that, but that doesn’t mean it’s healthy. Nutella is a hazelnut chocolate spread, but I don’t know how many hazelnuts it contains. According to the taste, I would say not too much, if I were to compare it with the chocolate cream I made at home.
If you want a fine chocolate cream with an intense hazelnut taste, I suggest, without hesitation, this 5-ingredient homemade Nutella version, simple, quick, sugar-free, and with a wonderful nutty taste.
My homemade Nutella is made with natural ingredients, ensuring a healthier alternative to store-bought versions. Join me as we explore the rich flavors, velvety textures, and delightful sweetness of this homemade Nutella.

As always, before diving into the recipe, let’s see some info about one of the main ingredients: Hazelnuts.
Hazelnuts:

Due to their delicate aroma and extraordinarily delicious taste, as well as the valuable nutrients they contain, they are hunted with great interest, especially by children. But even adults don’t shy away from a portion of hazelnuts!
Hazelnuts can be eaten in various forms: raw (provides the most benefits) or roasted (they have a taste that many people find more pleasant), in vegetable salads (the healthy fats present in hazelnuts facilitate the absorption of the nutrient spills found in vegetables) or in dried fruit salads, nuts, and seeds, in ice cream.
Nutritional Information:
Being rich in vitamins (A, complex B, C, D, vitamin E), minerals (calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese, and selenium), proteins (27% of the daily dose), and healthy fats, Hazelnuts are an excellent addition to any diet, however, it is recommended to consume hazelnuts in moderation.

3. Remove the hazelnuts from the oven and let them cool.

8. Serve on a slice of toast or fresh baguette.

Pour the warm chocolate cream as it is into the jars and let it cool completely. Put the lids on and we can keep it in the fridge for up to 3 months, without problems (the only “issue” being that it will harden).
