Hi, I’m Raoul, and I’m glad you’re here!
I want to share the reason why I decided to open this health and fitness blog. In my youth, there was an interval between 2006-2012, when due to the job, the prolonged program, the inadequate diet (only 2 meals per day, very consistent, at high intervals), lack of sport, I’ve gained a lot of kilograms.
I’m mentioning that before that time I had been an athletic person, I was going to the gym, and somewhere at the end of the summer of 2006, I said to myself: It is not possible anymore! You have breathing problems simply by going on the street, do you like how you look? what happened to you? ENOUGH! And I decided to act!
I have set concrete goals (based on 4 factors: Information, Food, Sport, and Rest) … well determined in time (on stages, 3-6-9 months … I’ve started at the end of July 2012-April 2013) achievable, and because I am an ambitious, determined, and consistent person, I managed to lose at the end of the 9 months, 23 kg, from 89 to 66! by using a proper, healthy diet, combined with physical exercises done at home.
But realizing that I had fallen to the other extreme, at my height being too skinny, I settled this problem gradually, and from the end of 2013, I kept myself constantly in the range of 75-78 kg.
A healthy lifestyle is one that helps to keep and improve your health and well-being. A healthy lifestyle isn’t just about healthy eating and exercise, it also about taking care of the whole you – your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. And, that means taking care of you from the inside out.
Being aware of the problem of extra pounds and obesity of too many people, being myself in the past in that situation, and being passionate about sport and nutrition, I decided to share from my own experience creating this blog.
My main purpose is to add great amounts of value to men and women in the fields of nutrition, fitness, and psychology that creates health, inspires weight loss transformation, and is a catalyst for personal responsibility. Transforming your body and life doesn’t have to suck. I want to show you that you can have fun while making a serious lifestyle change.
