Last Thoughts:
Broccoli and apple cider vinegar might not seem like ingredients you’d want to put into a smoothie, but trust me, it’s amazing. Fresh spinach, tart kiwi, and sweet apple add in a variety of flavors and textures, while the broccoli and ACV give it a boost of nutrients that will leave you feeling energized.
This green smoothie is packed with vitamins and minerals from the fruits, vegetables, and greens—it’s almost like eating an entire meal in one glass!
But don’t let the list of ingredients scare you off. The base for this green smoothie is just frozen broccoli florets and frozen spinach.
You could even sub in fresh broccoli or cooked spinach if you don’t have frozen on hand. The key here is to just add whatever frozen vegetable you like that has a good amount of fiber—the broccoli and spinach mingle together to make the texture of this green smoothie super creamy.
Then add some fruit—I chose kiwi because it adds such a wonderful flavor to this drink, but you could use any fruit: strawberries, blueberries, bananas, mangos…whatever your heart desires.
And finally, I added some apple cider vinegar because it gives this green smoothie its signature tangy sweetness.
