Summer is here! This marks the beginning of barbecues and BBQs, beach trips and vacations, picnics in parks, and other enjoyable outdoor activities.
You eat dinner outside, which means dessert comes after dinner. But what if it was the main course? Well, you can do just that with some fancy twists on traditional desserts, without breaking your diet.
If you are a lover of sweets, but you are not too happy about the less healthy ingredients in the commercial products, why not make your healthy desserts. You don’t have to be a professional chef and you do not need hours to get delicious and healthy desserts.
I’m trying to help you, so I have collected 3 of my favorite dessert recipes, which you can make very quickly and which are also healthy.
Today’s 3 tasty summer dessert recipes are:
1) Yogurt with Exotic Fruits
Ingredients:
• 1 small Greek yogurt
• 120 gr mascarpone cheese
• 1 tablespoon agave syrup
• 1 fruit of passion
• Half a mango
Method of preparation:
- In a bowl mix the yogurt with mascarpone and agave syrup, until you get a homogeneous cream.
- Add the passion fruit, and chunks of mangoÂ
2) Biscuits with Bananas and Oatmeal
Ingredients:
• 2 bananas
• 1 cup oatmeal
• almonds
• pecan nuts
Method of preparation:
- Peel the bananas and mix them with the rest of the ingredients.
- From the mixture, form small biscuits and place them on a tray lined with baking paper.
- Leave them in the preheated oven at 170 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
3) Muffins with Dark Chocolate and Bananas
Ingredients:
• 100 g cocoa butter
• 2 medium eggs
• 100 ml agave syrup
• 3 ripe bananas
• 200g whole-grain flour
• 1 teaspoon of baking soda
• 1 salt powder
• 2 teaspoons of BIO starch
• 1 cup of coconut milk or yogurt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 6 – 8 dark chocolate squares with 90% cocoa
Method of preparation:
- The cocoa butter melts and cools. Then, with the mixer, combine with the agave syrup
- Add one egg at a time, then the bananas crushed with a fork.
- Add the baking soda and BIO starch to the flour and then add the rest of the ingredients.
- Add salt, coconut milk or yogurt, vanilla extract, and chopped chocolate.
- Stir until a slightly liquid composition is obtained.
- Pour into muffin shapes and bake for about 40 minutes.
